Eldryn Chronicles
RPG

Eldryn Chronicles: Call of Legends

Eldryn Chronicles delivers a breathtaking open world filled with lore-rich quests, morally complex characters, and a combat system that rewards both patience and aggression. The Australian-developed studio behind this title has outdone themselves with procedurally generated side dungeons and a dynamic weather system that affects gameplay. Minor performance hiccups on mid-range hardware hold it back from perfection, but this is easily the RPG of the year.

Tactical Strike Reloaded

Tactical Strike: Reloaded

Tactical Strike: Reloaded refines the formula of its predecessor with tighter gunplay, expanded operator abilities, and a brand-new Australian-themed map set in the Outback. The ranked mode is well-balanced and the anti-cheat system is among the best in class. Occasional server instability on Oceania servers is the only real complaint from local players.

RPG

Neon Rift: Cyberpunk Odyssey

Set in a neon-drenched dystopian city inspired by Southeast Asian megacities, Neon Rift offers a gripping narrative with meaningful choices and a cyberpunk aesthetic that is second to none. The hacking mini-games are inventive and the character build system is deep. Some pacing issues in Act 2 aside, this is a standout RPG experience.

Gridlock Ops
FPS

Gridlock Ops: Zero Hour

Gridlock Ops takes a slower, more methodical approach to the FPS genre, emphasising squad coordination and environmental destruction. The single-player campaign is surprisingly compelling, and the co-op mode supports up to four players. Oceania server support is solid, making this a great choice for Australian teams.
